With more than 40 years of experience, the producer organization grows both conventional and organic vegetables in the Fucino and Maccarese lands to meet the needs of large and small agricultural contracts. Their mission is to provide high-quality fresh vegetables year-round through careful planning and specialized expertise. They work with local farmers, supporting crop rotation and enhancing local knowledge. They invest in state-of-the-art equipment to be self-sufficient in all stages of the process, from planting to harvesting, ensuring the quality and freshness of their produce. In-house maintenance and manufacturing management underscores their commitment to excellence and true love for the Italian agricultural sector.

A SOLID COMMERCIAL REALITY

IOV, awarded as the best European producer of organic carrots in 2010 2011, has significantly expanded its production capacity becoming the largest Italian grower of organic carrots. The company has been supplying carrots, potatoes and red beets to the British market for 15 years, maintaining contracts with major European customers. Currently, the focus is on expanding domestic sales to narrow the gap between domestic and foreign markets. The group has an annual turnover of more than 12 million euros with a steady growth of 10-15%. Organic farming, which covers about 600 hectares, places a special emphasis on environmental integrity.

We grow organic vegetables with the goal of providing our partners with healthy and pesticide-free products, proud to have built a sustainable production chain that respects the environment and cultural and scenic heritage.

We value the relationships we build with all the farmers and partners we work with, carefully tailoring our approach to each individual situation. To ensure the highest quality and service to our customers, our in-house capability involves several skills: a technical team, a quality team and a sales team. In fact, the use of the latest equipment ensures the provision of reliable service at a competitive price.

Before sowing even a single carrot seed, we carefully analyze each field to understand nutritional requirements and identify the best time to include the field in our annual harvest schedule. We pay special attention to our carrots, even when they are in the ground, sampling them regularly to ensure consistent quality. All our carrots are grown locally and brought back to our farm to be washed and graded.
